***** My Thoughts *****

To solve each problem one at a time.............To take day as it comes............To stick to your goals.............No matter what happens.............And press on toward your dreams.........To keep your attention focused on the future............As you consider the solutions at hand.

To smile often even when a frown feels more natural........No matter how difficult it may seem.....you have within you the ability, power and knowledge to make things better.....:P

Delete sorrow of your life.......Save the happiness.

Hide your enemies.......Enter new friends.

Make your character as hardware.......And your heart as software.

Make your mind as floppy........And shine your body as CD.

Re-do positive thoughts........And Un-do negative thoughts.

Follow these rules and then.......Your life's computer will never hang.

Too Busy for a Friend..

One day a teacher asked her students to list the names of other students in the room on two sheets of paper, leaving a space between each name.

Then she told them to think of the nicest thing they could say about each of their classmates and write it down.

It took the remainder of the class period to finish their assignment, and as the students left the room, each one handed in the papers.

Thant Saturday, the teacher wrote down the name of each student on a separate sheet of paper, and listed what everyone else had said about that individual.

On Monday, she gave each student his or her list. Before long, the entire class was smiling. "Really?" she heard whispered. " I never knew that I meant anything to anyone!" and, "I didn't know others liked me so much." were most of the comments.

No one ever mentioned those papers in class again. She never knew if they discussed them after class or with their parents, but it didn't matter. The exercise had accomplished its purpose. The students were happy with themselves and one another. That group of students moved on.

Several years later, one of the students was killed in Vietnam and his teacher attended the funeral of that special student. She had never seen a serviceman in a military coffin before. He looked so handsome, so mature.

The church was packed with his friends. One by one, those who loved him took a last walk by the coffin. The teacher was the last one to bless the coffin.

As she stood there, one of the soldiers who acted as pallbearer came up to her. "Were you John's math teacher?" he asked. She nodded: "yes". Then he said: "Mark talked about you a lot".

After the funeral, most of John's former classmates went together to a luncheon. John's mother and father were there, obviously waiting to speak with his teacher.

"We want to show you something." his father said, taking a wallet out of his pocket. "They found this on John's when he was killed. We thought you might recognize it."

Opening the billfold, he carefully removed two worn pieces of notebook paper that had obviously been taped, folded and refolded many times. The teacher knew without looking that the papers were the ones on which she had listed all the good things each of John's classmates had said about him.

"Thank you so much for doing that," John's mother said. "As you can see, John treasured it
."

All of John's former classmates started to gather around. Charlie smiled rather sheepishly and said, "I still have my list. It's in the top drawer of my desk at home."

Chuck's wife said, "Chuck asked me to put his in our wedding album."

"I have mine too," Marilyn said "It's in my diary."

Then Vicki, another classmate, reached into her pocketbook, took out her wallet and showed her worn and frazzled list to the group "I carry this with me at all times," Vicki said and without batting an eyelash, she continued: "I think we all saved our lists."

That's when the teacher finally sat down and cried. She cried for John and for all his friends who would never see him again.

The density of people in society is so thick that we forget that life will end one day. And we don't know when that one day will be.

So please my friend, tell the people you love and care for, that they are special and important. Tell them, before it is too late.

Remember, you reap what you sow. What you put into the lives of others comes back into your own.

IF A MAN WANTS YOU.....

If a man wants you, nothing can keep him away.

If he doesn't want you, nothing can make him stay.

Stop making excuses for a man and his behavior.

Allow your intuition (or spirit) to save you from heartache.

Stop trying to change yourselves for a relationship that's not meant to be.

Slower is better.

Never live your life for a man before you find what makes you truly happy.

If a relationship ends because the man was not treating you as you deserve

then heck no, you can't "be friends." A friend wouldn't mistreat a friend.

Don't settle. If you feel like he is stringing you along, then he probably is.

Don't stay because you think "it will get better." You'll be mad at yourself

a year later for staying when things are not better.

The only person you can control in a relationship is you.

Avoid men who've got a bunch of children by a bunch of different women.

He didn't marry them when he got them pregnant,

Why would he treat you any differently?

Always have your own set of friends separate from his.

Maintain boundaries in how a guy treats you.

If something bothers you, speak up.

Never let a man know everything. He will use it against you later.

You cannot change a man's behavior. Change comes from within.

Don't EVER make him feel he is more important than you are...even if he has

more education or in a better job. Do not make him into a quasi-god.

He is a man, nothing more nothing less.

Never let a man define who you are.

Never borrow someone else's man.

Oh Lord! If he cheated with you, he'll cheat on you.

A man will only treat you the way you ALLOW him to treat you.

All men are NOT dogs.

You should not be the one doing all the bending...compromise is a two-way street.

You need time to heal between relationships...there is nothing cute about

baggage... deal with your issues before pursuing a new relationship

You should never look for someone to COMPLETE you...a relationship consists

of two WHOLE individuals...look for someone complimentary...not supplementary.

Dating is fun...even if he doesn't turn out to be Mr. Right.

Make him miss you sometimes...when a man always know where you are, and your

always readily available to him- he takes it for granted.

Don't fully commit to a man who doesn't give you everything that you need.

Keep him in your radar but get to know others.

Share this with other ladies..... You'll make someone SMILE, another

RETHINK her choices, and another woman PREPARE.

They say it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate

them, a day to love them and an entire lifetime to forget them.

Well.....for all ma ladies out there...judge it for youself........ :P

Dear Son, Dear Daughter.....

The day when you will find that I become very old, try to have some patience to me and try to understand me.

If I get dirty by eating......If I have some difficulty dressing....be patient!!....Remember the hours that I spent to learn you any sorts of things when you were small.

If I repeat the same thing dozens of time, does not interrupt me!!...Listen to me!!..When you were small, you kept asking me to read you the same history, evening after evening, until you fall asleep....and I made it!

If I do not wash myself any more so often under the shower, do not reprimand and do not tell me that it is a shame.....Remember how many excuses I had to invent to make you take a bath when you were small.

By seeing my ignorance towards the new technologies, do not laugh of me but leave me rather the time to understand.
I taught you so many things indeed to eat well....to dress well....to behave well....how to confront the problems of the life.....

If I sometimes miss memory or am not able to follow a conversation, leave me to necessary time to recollect and if I do not reach there, do not become a nervous and arrogant person because the most important for me......it is to be with you and to be able to speak to you.

If I refuse to eat, do not force me!!!....I know very well when I am hungry and when I am not hungry.

When my poor legs will not allow me any more to move as before....Help me in the same way as I held your hands to learn you make your first steps.

And when one day, I shall say to you that I do not want to live any more......that I want to die, do not get angry....because one day, you will also understand!!!

Try to understand that at certain age, we do not really live any more....We simply survive!!

One day, you will understand that in spite of all my errors, I always wanted what was best for you and that I prepared you the ground for when you've grown up.

You do not have to feel sad, unfortunate or incompetent in front of my old age and of my state.

You have to stay near me, try to understand what I live, to make your best as I did at your birth.

Help me to walk, help me to end my life with love and patience....The only way that I need to thank you for it, it is a smile and a lot of love from you.

I love you.....My Son, My Daughter....

Your Dad, Your Mum

A Butterfly's Lesson......

One day, a small opening appeared on a cocoon......a man sat and watched for the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body through that little hole. Then......it seems to stop making any progress. It appeared as if it had gotten as far as it could and it could not go any further......so the man decided to help the butterfly......he took a pair of scissors and opened the cocoon. The butterfly then emerged easily. But it had a withered body....it was tiny and shriveled wings.

The man continued to watch because he expected that, at any moment, the wings would open, enlarge and expand, to be able to support the butterfly's body, and become firm.

Neither happened!!....In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around with a withered body and shriveled wings. It never was able to fly.

What the man, in his kindness and his goodwill did not understand was that the restricting cocoon and the struggled required for the butterfly to get through the tiny opening, were God's way of forcing fluid from the body of the butterfly into its wings, so that it would be ready for flight, once it achieved it.

Sometimes, struggles are exactly what we need in our life. If God allowed us to go through our life without any obstacles, it would cripple us. We would not be as strong as we could have been........Never been able to fly...........

I asked for Strength.......and God gave me Difficulties to make me strong...
I asked for Wisdom......and God gave me Problems to solve...
I asked for Prosperity.......and God gave me a Brain and Brawn to work...
I asked for Courage.........and God gave me Obstacles to overcome...
I asked for Love..........and God gave me Troubled people to help...
I asked for Favors..........and God gave Opportunities...

I received nothing I wanted........but I received everything I needed.....

Live life without fear.....Confront all obstacles and evince that you can overcome them!!....

UPGRADE FROM BOYFRIEND TO HUSBAND

Dear IT Support,

Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a slow down in the overall performance, particularly in the flower, gifts and jewellery applications that had operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0.

In addition, Husband 1.0 un-installed many other valuable programs, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5, but installed undesirable programs such as Formula One 5.0, NBA 3.0 and World Cup 2.0.

And now Conversation 8.0 no longer runs and House Cleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system. I've tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail.

What can I do?

Signed,
Desperate Housewife

Reply:
Dear Desperate Housewife,

First keep in mind:

Boyfriend 5.0 is an entertainment package, while Husband 1.0 is an operating system.

Try entering the command C:\ I THOUGHT YOU LOVED ME and download
Tears 6.2 to install Guilt 3.0.

If all works as designed, Husband 1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewellery 2.0 and Flowers 3.5.

But remember, overuse can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0 or Late Night Teh Tarik 6.1.

Late Night 6.1 is a very bad program that will create SnoringLoudly. wav files.

Whatever you do, DO NOT install Mother-in-Law 1.0 or reinstall another
Boyfriend program. These are not supported applications and will crash
Husband 1.0.

In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have a limited
memory and cannot learn new applications quickly.

You might consider additional software to improve memory and performance. I personally recommend Hot Tasty Food 3.0 and Tongkat Ali 6.9.

Good Luck,

IT Support

PROUD TO BE SARAWAKIAN!!!!!!!

Have you ever heard people ask us Sarawakians whether we still live in the jungles, up the tree, hunt for food and wear clothing made out of leaves???....If I was asked so, I would proudly say YES....lolzz.........

When you as a Sarawakian start to feel low just becos you're from Sarawak...these facts would make you change your mind........

1. We have the second largest International Airport in Malaysia....While others might not even have any. We have FIVE major airports, while others might not have one.

2. Car fuel is the cheapest here, and not to mention one of the largest petroleum source in Malaysia.

3. We have two official cities, Kuching and Miri and soon Sibu....while other states might only have a town.

4. We are still the main reason why tourists come to Malaysia, for our Mulu Caves.

5. Two out of the popular singers based at Taiwan are from Sarawak (Nicholas Teo and Lim Yu Zhong) (not to mention Jason Lo from hitz.fm)

6. The whole of Brunei Island does not envy Malaysia...they envy Sarawak.

7. The most air travelers in Malaysia are from Sarawak. Almost all Sarawakians have at least traveled once or twice with airplane, compared to the west Malaysian.

8. We have our own daily newspaper...namely Sarawak Tribune, Borneo Post and International Times.

9. Everytime there's a reality show, our contestant always reach respectful levels.

10. We live in harmony, not just with Malay, Indian and Chinese....but also with the Iban, Bidayuh, Melanau, Kelabit, Kenyah, etc....For those who are ignorant out there...Iban is another race that can be found mostly in Sarawak, ok??...Many people thought Sarawak people are generally called as Iban.....HOW IGNORANT!!!!.........The term Sarawak truly Asia is more like it.

11. First "Amazing Race" ever was held in Kuching, Sarawak.

12. Most of us Sarawakians speak at least 4 different languages.

13. MAS CEO from Sarawak........Sin Chiew daily new's (the biggest newspaper company in Malaysia) ...founder is from Sarawak.

14. Sarawak Laksa!!!!...Kolo Mee!!!...Bian Bian Hu!!!...Kompia!!!....this is just to name a few examples we have our own identity, our own popular food where no other places will have the same taste with ours.

15. We are one of the states with the largest and thichest jungle which produces valuables wood.....while some others already become BOTAK.

16. our air (water) is among the cleanest in Malaysia and we dun have even really need any water purifier.

BE PROUD TO BE SARAWAKIAN....FOR WE ARE THE RICHES STATES IN MALAYSIA.... :)
